Azuchi Castle
The Sengoku Era: The authority of the central government was weakened, and local lords fought for power. The warring conflicts that ravaged the entire country plunged Japan into bloody chaos.
When the warlord Oda Nobunaga arrived in Kyoto, the people hoped that peace would finally return. Oda Nobunaga wanted to unify the country by restructuring the government and returning sole power to the emperor (Tenno). In 1576, he chose Azuchi, a town on the east bank of the Biwa River, as his new center of power and built his castle there. This magnificent and lively city reflected his aspirations to put an end to a chaotic era once and for all. The rapidly growing city was characterized by its open markets and luxurious castle.
And now it’s your turn! As a representative of Oda Nobunaga’s court, you must complete his work by building Azuchi Castle.

Athens
In the 5th century BC, during the Persian Wars, the Delian League was founded under the leadership of Athens – this alliance was essentially the Athenian Empire. Athens became the richest and most powerful city-state in the world, but also faced difficult challenges from within and without. In Athens, players take on the role of leaders during the heyday of Athens and contribute to its lasting prosperity.
Athens is played over a maximum of 14 rounds. Each round consists of four phases: personnel management phase, base phase, action phase, and event phase. In each round, you expand your base, manage your personnel, and then carry out an event: you prepare for war by raising armies, host a festival with trade goods, and so on. Not only do you have to come up with an effective plan, but you also have to accept a little uncertainty. With the grace of the goddess Athena, your leadership will make Athens even greater!
